Peekamoose polugar vodka is crafted at Pomansky’s Distillery deep in the Catskill mountains of upstate New York. This production way above the city gives us the opportunity to take advantage of local ingredients available to us, like high quality New York State grain and pure well water like the fresh springs of Peekamoose Mountain.
Once Russia’s favorite, Polugar was distilled in copper pot stills until the 19th Century, when modernization led to their prohibition by the Czar.
Upholding tradition, we meticulously craft our Polugar with the same natural grain flavor, bridging its heritage from the old country to its revival at Peekamoose in New York.
